CosmoPrime Reviews: Surgeon, Prices and What Patients Report (2026)
A Pantip commenter wrote on 29 January 2026 that they had their transplant at CosmoPrime with Dr. Dew, and that "the doctor is very kind" (our translation from Thai). It's the only patient comment about the clinic that turned up in searches of Pantip and Reddit on 17 October 2026. So if you're weighing a hair transplant in Bangkok, most of what you can read about CosmoPrime comes from the clinic itself.
CosmoPrime is a hair transplant clinic with three Bangkok branches. Its Thai about page says it started out as Cosmo Clinic. Its medical director, Dr. Pathompob Khunkitti, is the one hair transplant doctor it names. Its Thai price page lists starting packages, such as FUE from 79,990 baht for 2,500 grafts. Its search description says 69,990 baht for FUE, and its page code lists 89,990.

We compare what clinics publish and what patients report; nobody at AsiaPatient has visited CosmoPrime or had a procedure there. Clinics cannot pay to be listed or ranked higher on AsiaPatient. See how we evaluate clinics.
Who the Surgeons Are
The English home page says the clinic is "led by experienced medical doctors specializing in hair transplantation." It names one of them.
What the Clinic Says About Each Doctor
Dr. Pathompob Khunkitti, MD. The English home page calls him "Medical Director" and "Hair Transplant Specialist", with "Extensive experience in FUE, DHI, and Long Hair Transplant". It gives no number of years or procedures. The Thai pages call him Dr. Dew, and the Thai about page lists hairline design to suit face shape and age among his work (our translation).
The English about page says he "earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Thammasat University, Thailand." It lists exchange programs during medical school at the University of California, Davis, and the University of Hawaii's John A. Burns School of Medicine. It also says "He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS)".
The Thai about page has a longer membership list. It names the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), ISHRS Full Member, the World FUE Institute and the Asian Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons. The English about page and the short bio on the Thai price page name ISHRS and leave ABHRS out. The Thai about page gives ว. 53236 as his Thai medical license number.
The co-founder. The English about page says the clinic was "Established in 2017 by Dr. Pathompob Khunkitti and Dr. Nuttanit Toncharoenphong". The Thai about page gives the Thai year 2561, which is 2018. The clinic's pages give Dr. Nuttanit no hair transplant role or credentials.
The about page also calls the clinic a destination for "hair restoration, dermatology, and aesthetic treatments". That wider scope matters when you read its review count, below.
What the ABHRS and ISHRS Listings Show
The ISHRS listing for Pathompob Khunkitti, MD shows "ISHRS Full Member" and gives 2025 as the year he joined. It places him at Cosmoprime Clinic, 29 Pracharatbampen Road, Ratchadapisek, Dindaeng, Bangkok 10400. It says nothing about board certification.
The ABHRS physician directory had no listing for him on 17 October 2026, although the clinic's Thai about page lists ABHRS. A search for his surname returned "Showing 0 results", while the same search found another doctor's listing by surname. The full directory page, with 312 listings, has no entry for him or for CosmoPrime.
That doesn't prove he holds no ABHRS certificate. It shows he isn't in the public directory. Neither listing says anything about how a given transplant turns out.
The Thai Medical Council's website returned a block page on 17 October 2026. So the license number is the clinic's statement, not a register result.
How to Check It Yourself
- Search the ABHRS directory by surname. It lists names, clinic addresses and a category such as Diplomate.
- Use the ISHRS Find a Doctor search, or the listing linked above.
- Ask the clinic to put the operating doctor's name and license number on your quote, then search that number on the Thai Medical Council's register.
Who Does Which Step
The clinic says its doctor is involved in consultation, planning, extraction and implantation. It doesn't say who holds the instruments at each step.
In the Clinic's Own Words
The English home page says Dr. Pathompob is "Personally involved in consultation, planning, extraction, and implantation". It adds "At Cosmoprime, hair transplantation is not delegated entirely to technicians."
Our reading: "not delegated entirely" means other staff do part of the work. The page doesn't say which steps, or how much.
The same page says that on the procedure day "hair follicles are carefully extracted and implanted by our medical team". Its FAQ says "All consultations and hair transplant procedures at Cosmoprime Clinic are performed and supervised by licensed medical doctors specializing in hair restoration."
The Thai home page says Dr. Pathompob designs a personal hairline to suit the face (our translation). The Thai FUE page says the doctor mixes the graft storage solution personally. The Thai DHI page says the choice of implanter pen depends on "the doctor and team" (our translation).
At first contact, the contact page says "Initial inquiries are handled by our staff to gather basic information." A doctor reviews the case "When medical input is required".
In Patients' Words
An English-language Google review shown on the clinic's homepage says "The doctor is very experienced" and "The team of assistants was excellent." A Thai review in the same widget says the staff, nurses and doctor were all very friendly (our translation).
None of these reviews says who extracted the grafts, made the incisions or placed the grafts. So ask for those roles in writing, by name.
Techniques Offered
The home page says "Our clinic focuses exclusively on FUE, DHI, and Long Hair Transplant".
FUE. The home page lists "No linear scar" and "Suitable for hairline, crown, and density restoration". The Thai FUE page gives a punch size of 0.65 to 1 millimeter. It says FUE generally needs the back shaved, with a no-shave or low-shave option in some cases (our translation). Our Bangkok FUE page compares clinics that offer it.
DHI. The home page describes "Direct implantation using implanter pens" with "Enhanced control over angle, direction, and depth". Its English DHI article says "The main difference is the implantation step." The Thai DHI page lists pen brands in general, CHOI and KNU among them, without saying which one CosmoPrime uses. The clinic's Thai overview page says an implanter pen costs more than ordinary forceps (our translation). Our Bangkok DHI page covers the method.
Long Hair. The English long hair article calls it "a variation of FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) where hair follicles are harvested from the donor area without fully shaving the back of the scalp." Other clinic pages call it no-shave FUE or Long Hair DHI, without saying whether those are one product. The Thai long hair page says a tool for placing long-hair grafts may be used in some cases (our translation).
The same article lists "Hairline refinement rather than large-area restoration" and says "Many women prefer this method because it avoids shaving". The clinic's results page shows five long hair cases, all labeled female, at 1,850 to 2,000 grafts. Our non-shaven FUE page compares Bangkok options.
Micrograft. The price page sells "Micrograft" and "DHI with Micrograft" packages. The clinic's pages don't define Micrograft as a separate technique from FUE.
FUT. The clinic's English cost guide lists FUT (strip surgery) at about 30 to 50 baht a graft, as a general Thailand range. An English article on its site from August 2024 says its team is "skilled in both methods", FUE and FUT. But FUT isn't on the clinic's current service pages or price page. If you need FUT, see our Bangkok FUT page.
Beard, eyebrow and scar repair. Not mentioned on the clinic's English or Thai pages.
On anesthesia, the home page says "local anesthesia is applied to ensure comfort." The Thai FUE page mentions anesthetic injections or sleeping medication, while the Thai DHI page says the patient stays conscious throughout (our translations).
How Long the Procedure Takes
The home page says "Procedure time varies based on graft numbers". The clinic's pages give different lengths:
- About 4 to 8 hours per session, on the Thai FUE page.
- About 8 to 12 hours for FUE or DHI, on the Thai DHI page.
- 6 to 8 hours for a regular transplant and 10 to 12 hours for long hair, on the Thai long hair page.
- "often require 8-10 hours, depending on the number of grafts and hairline complexity", in the English long hair article.
One Google review on the homepage says "It took about 8 hours." Ask for the planned hours for your graft count.
CosmoPrime Price: What the Clinic Publishes and What Patients Pay
What the Clinic Publishes
The Thai price page (read 17 October 2026) has a table of starting package prices (our translation). Each package is a flat price for a set number of grafts.
| Package (clinic's name) | Starting price | Grafts | Our conversion | Per graft, our arithmetic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FUE | ฿79,990 | 2,500 | $2,410 | about 32 baht ($0.97) |
| Micrograft | ฿99,990 | 2,500 | $3,020 | about 40 baht ($1.21) |
| DHI with Micrograft | ฿109,990 | 2,500 | $3,320 | about 44 baht ($1.33) |
| Long Hair DHI | ฿119,990 | 2,000 | $3,620 | about 60 baht ($1.81) |
| DHI + Cell Regen | ฿149,990 | 2,500 | $4,530 | about 60 baht ($1.81) |
The table doesn't say what happens if you need more or fewer grafts than the package, or whether the price changes with the count. An English page on the clinic's site says exact costs depend on individual assessment. So your total might differ from the table.
The page disagrees with itself on FUE. Its visible table says 79,990 baht for 2,500 grafts. Its search-result description says 69,990 baht for the same 2,500 grafts, and a block in its page source lists 89,990 baht. The page source also carries unfilled template placeholders, so the hidden figures may be out of date. We can't tell which FUE figure the clinic charges, so ask it to state the figure on your written quote.
The long hair figures don't match either. The Thai long hair page gives approximate prices of "starting about 59,900 baht" for a regular transplant and "starting about 89,900 baht" for long hair (our translation), with no graft count. It says price and time depend on the number of grafts and the doctor's assessment. The price page's visible table gives the Long Hair DHI package at 119,990 baht for 2,000 grafts, and its page code lists 149,990 baht for the same package.
The price page calls its figures a "Net Price" that includes the doctor's fee, the operating room and care after the procedure (our translation). It offers 0% installments for up to 6 months through designated banks. Its FAQ also mentions a standard "Privacy Case" rate for patients who don't want to take review photos, and gives no figure for that rate.
The same page prices three add-ons. Cell Regen is 49,990 baht, or 39,990 baht when done with FUE. Hair Bank Stem Cell, 20 million cells, is 169,990 baht. Plasma Premium is 2,990 baht a session.
The clinic's English cost guide gives approximate per-graft ranges for Thailand in general. No row in it is marked as CosmoPrime's own rate, and its figures don't match the Thai price page, so it isn't the clinic's price list. Our Bangkok cost guide sets CosmoPrime's DHI with Micrograft package next to other clinics' prices.
Patient-Reported Prices by Date
No patient price for CosmoPrime turned up in searches of Reddit and Pantip on 17 October 2026. So the clinic's own starting prices are all there is to go on.
What to Ask for in Writing
- The total in baht for your graft count, and whether it's the "Net Price" the page describes.
- Which package applies, and whether 2,500 or 2,000 grafts is a cap, a fixed package or an estimate.
- The FUE figure itself, since the table says 79,990 baht, its search description says 69,990 and its page code lists 89,990.
- The "Privacy Case" rate, and whether review photos change your price.
- Whether medication, blood tests, PRP and Cell Regen are included or extra.
- The installment terms: which bank, how many months and any fee.
Booking, Consultation and Deposit
The home page says treatment "begins with a doctor-led consultation to assess your hair condition and goals", where the team "estimates graft requirements, and explains realistic expectations".
The contact page says "Online consultation is available for preliminary assessment, post-procedure questions, and general guidance." It adds that "Some conditions may still require an in-clinic examination". It recommends booking ahead and takes walk-ins when it has room. The clinic says it usually replies within 24 hours on business days.
On price, an English page on the clinic's site says pricing is "discussed after medical evaluation to match individual needs".
Before surgery, the Thai overview page says the doctor draws blood to screen for infections, naming HIV, hepatitis B and C, and syphilis. It doesn't say whether the test is in the price. The same page tells patients to stop finasteride and minoxidil 7 days before surgery (our translation). Ask your own doctor before you stop any medicine.
CosmoPrime doesn't publish a deposit, a consultation fee, a waiting time or a cancellation policy. Its terms page covers buying products online, not surgery bookings. No public patient report covers deposits or waits either. Get the deposit amount, refund and date-change terms in writing before you pay.
What Is Included
The Thai price page says the package price includes the doctor's fee, the operating room and care after the procedure (our translation). The English page linked above says packages are designed to include "Medical consultation and planning", "Hair transplant procedure", "Standard post-procedure care" and "Follow-up guidance".
The home page says patients receive aftercare instructions "including scalp care, washing guidelines, and prescribed medication." It doesn't say the medication is in the package price. The Thai FUE page says the clinic gives you a hat to keep dust off when you go out (our translation).
Cell Regen, Hair Bank Stem Cell and Plasma are priced separately; the DHI + Cell Regen row is a combined package. The clinic publishes nothing on hotels, airport transfers, translators, meals, blood test fees, the number of follow-up visits, or any guarantee or refund.
Aftercare and Follow-Up When You Fly Home
The Thai FUE page says the clinic books a visit the day after surgery to clean the wound and take off the dressing. After that you go home without bandages (our translation). By our reading, that means at least one night in Bangkok and one return visit. The clinic publishes no recommended length of stay.
The clinic's English page on its Thai site sets out these steps:
- Remove the bandages at the clinic on the first day after the procedure.
- Resume work and light daily activity between days three and five.
- Start washing your hair gently on the seventh day.
- Start scrubbing off the remaining scabs after 14 days.
- Wait at least four weeks before strenuous sport and exercise.
- Contact your doctor at once for a lingering fever, heavy bleeding, severe pain or signs of infection.
Its other pages disagree on washing and swimming. The Thai long hair page says to avoid washing for 3 to 5 days in one place and 2 to 3 days in another. It says no swimming or sauna for at least 14 days, while the Thai aftercare page says no swimming for at least a month (our translations). Follow the written instructions you're given after surgery, and ask which one applies.
The Thai FUE page also says to sleep on your back with the pillow raised to 45 degrees, to reduce swelling.
The home page says "Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor healing and support optimal results." It doesn't say how many, when, or whether they can happen remotely. Online consultation covers "post-procedure questions", though some conditions need an in-clinic examination.
The clinic publishes no month-by-month follow-up schedule, no process for sending photos from abroad, no after-hours contact and no revision policy. Ask how each works before you book a flight home.
On growth, the clinic's pages put new hair at about 3 to 6 months and fuller results at 6 to 12 months, with some pages saying 9 to 12. Its results page says hair transplant results vary by individual. Growth timing varies by person, according to the clinic. Our Bangkok recovery guide covers the weeks after surgery in the city.
Location and Getting There
The contact page lists three branches. It doesn't say which ones perform surgery.
| Branch | Address and transit | Hours | Phone |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phetkasem | Phetkasem Road between Soi Petchkasem 25/6 and 27, opposite Siam University; 3 minutes' walk from BTS/MRT Bang Wa, Exit 4 | 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM | 095-530-5320, 02-101-1799 |
| Huai Khwang | Pracharatbampen Road, opposite Soi Pracharatbampen 2, same side as the Ganesha Shrine; 1 minute's walk from MRT Huai Khwang, Exit 4 | 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM | 090-993-5320, 02-002-7099 |
| Bangna | The Master Udomsuk Project, 818/8-9 Sukhumvit Soi 103, Bangna, Bangkok 10260; no rail station named | 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM | 095-359-5320 |
The Thai branch pages say they're open every day, and the Phetkasem and Bangna pages recommend booking ahead (our translation). The Huai Khwang page pitches its late hours at people coming after work or in the evening.
The ISHRS listing gives the clinic's address as 29 Pracharatbampen Road in Din Daeng. The clinic's own Huai Khwang page names the same road but no street number, so ask the clinic which address to go to. Its pages give no airport route, taxi advice or hotel list.
CosmoPrime Reviews: What Patients Report
The patient sources read for this page are thin: one patient comment on a Thai forum, an undated review widget the clinic runs on its own homepage, and one Reddit question with no patient replies.
Positive and Mixed Reports
Pantip, 29 January 2026. In a Pantip thread titled "Looking for a hair transplant clinic" (our translation), an anonymous commenter wrote "เราปลูก Cosmoprime Clinic หมอดิวค่ะ คุณหมอใจดีมาก". Our translation: "I had my transplant at Cosmoprime Clinic, Dr. Dew. The doctor is very kind." The comment says nothing about the technique, graft count, price or result.
Google reviews on the clinic's homepage. The English home page embeds a review widget headed "EXCELLENT" and "Based on 323 reviews". The clinic chooses to show it, and the page text gives no dates or star ratings for the ten reviews it displays. The widget doesn't say which services the 323 reviews cover. Of the ten shown, three are about hair transplants, three are about fillers or other beauty treatments, and four don't say.
The English-language hair review says "It hurts a little only when they give you the anesthetic. After that it was very comfortable until the end of the procedure. It took about 8 hours." The same reviewer wrote that they were "given complete and detailed information about the hair transplant from preparation for the procedure to the stages of care after the hair transplant."
A Thai review says Dr. Dew advised very well, the transplant wasn't as painful as expected, and the team looked after the patient very well (our translation). Another calls the clinic clean, safe and easy to get to.
Complaints, Criticism and Doubts
No complaint or critical patient account about CosmoPrime turned up in Reddit and Pantip searches or in the ten reviews the clinic's widget displays, as of 17 October 2026. That's a limit of the public record, not proof there are none.
On 2 November 2025, a poster on r/HairTransplants asked "Has anyone been to Cosmoprime Clinic Bangkok (Dr Drew)?" In the thread's public feed, nobody replied with their own CosmoPrime experience. The original poster bumped the thread on 7 November 2025.
On 5 March 2026, another user wrote "i'm thinking about them too have you found out anything? I see alot of results in Thai forums everything is positive there is a facebook group for Cosmo results aswell." That commenter was weighing the clinic, not reporting on a procedure there. The Facebook group isn't covered here. The one Thai forum comment from a patient on this page is the Pantip line above.
Some doubts come from the clinic's own pages rather than from patients. The price page carries three FUE figures. The Thai about page lists ABHRS, and the ABHRS directory has no listing. Procedure lengths and washing instructions differ between pages, and the Privacy Case rate has no figure.
What the Reports Can't Tell You
None of the sources read for this page (Pantip, Reddit and the clinic's homepage widget) reports a price paid, a deposit, a wait for a date, follow-up from abroad or a revision. The homepage widget is the clinic's choice and mixes beauty treatments with hair.
The results page shows cases the clinic picked, such as "Male, 32 - DHI Hair Transplant (2300 grafts) with natural hairline". That's the clinic's selection, not independent evidence.
RealSelf's Bangkok listings, Google Maps reviews and the clinic's social media pages aren't covered here.
CosmoPrime Compared With Other Bangkok Clinics
Here's how CosmoPrime's published points sit next to three clinics we've profiled in the same format. It's what each clinic publishes, not what it charges you.
| Clinic | Register listings | What it publishes on price | Deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| CosmoPrime | Dr. Pathompob: ISHRS Full Member, joined 2025; no ABHRS directory listing | Starting packages on its Thai price page, FUE from 79,990 baht for 2,500 grafts in the visible table | Not published |
| Bangkok Hair Clinic | Lead surgeon Dr. Jirayu: ABHRS Diplomate, certification year 2025; ISHRS Full Member, joined 2020 | Wording only, no per-graft rate | Not published; one 2026 patient paid 10,000 THB |
| HairTran | ISHRS Full Member, joined 2019; ABHRS Diplomate, certification year 2023 | A starting price of 102,000 baht | Not published; patients report 20 to 40 percent |
| Absolute Hair Clinic | Both doctors: ABHRS Diplomate, ISHRS Fellow Member | No per-graft price; its Thai FUE page says from about 30,000 baht | 35,000 baht, "non-refundable under any circumstances" |
CosmoPrime publishes package starting prices and no deposit figure. HairTran publishes a starting price, Absolute publishes its deposit, and Bangkok Hair Clinic publishes price wording only. Compare written quotes for your own graft count before you choose. Our Bangkok clinic comparison covers more clinics.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is CosmoPrime legit and licensed?
The clinic gives a Thai medical license number for Dr. Pathompob Khunkitti, ว. 53236, but the Thai Medical Council's site returned a block page on 17 October 2026, so that number is the clinic's statement. The ISHRS lists him as a Full Member who joined in 2025. The ABHRS directory has no listing for him, although the clinic's Thai about page lists ABHRS. The clinic's pages give no facility license number or named accreditation body.
Who are the doctors at CosmoPrime?
The clinic names one hair transplant doctor, Dr. Pathompob Khunkitti, MD, its Medical Director, whom its Thai pages call Dr. Dew. The clinic says he has an M.D. from Thammasat University. It also names a co-founder, Dr. Nuttanit Toncharoenphong, without a hair transplant role. The home page says the work isn't "delegated entirely to technicians", so ask who does each step.
How much does a hair transplant cost at CosmoPrime?
The visible table on the clinic's Thai price page lists FUE from 79,990 baht for 2,500 grafts ($2,410, our conversion), DHI with Micrograft from 109,990 baht for 2,500 grafts, and Long Hair DHI from 119,990 baht for 2,000 grafts. The same page shows 69,990 and 89,990 baht for FUE in its search description and page source. No patient price for CosmoPrime turned up in searches of Reddit and Pantip on 17 October 2026.
Can I get a hair transplant without shaving at CosmoPrime?
Yes, the clinic sells a Long Hair transplant taken without fully shaving the back of the scalp. Its price page lists Long Hair DHI from 119,990 baht for 2,000 grafts, while its Thai long hair page gives an approximate start of about 89,900 baht with no graft count. Its pages give 8 to 10 hours and 10 to 12 hours for the procedure. All five long hair cases on its results page are labeled female, and the clinic presents it for hairline work rather than large areas.
Is there a deposit, and can I consult before I travel?
The clinic doesn't publish a deposit, a consultation fee or a waiting time. Its contact page offers online consultation for a preliminary assessment and says it usually replies within 24 hours on business days. Some conditions may still need an exam in the clinic. Get the deposit, refund and date-change terms in writing before you pay.
What do CosmoPrime reviews say, good and bad?
The sources read for this page are thin. One Pantip commenter wrote in January 2026 that the doctor is "very kind" (our translation). The clinic's homepage shows a Google review widget with 323 reviews. It doesn't say which services they cover, and the ten it shows include filler reviews. A November 2025 Reddit thread asking about the clinic had no replies from its patients in its public feed. No complaint appears in those sources, which is a limit of what's public, not proof there are none.
What follow-up is there after I fly home?
The clinic books a visit the day after surgery to clean the wound and remove the dressing. Its home page says follow-up appointments are scheduled, and its online consultation covers post-procedure questions, but it publishes no follow-up schedule or process for sending photos from abroad. Ask how remote follow-up works before you book your flight.
Is CosmoPrime Right for You?
This is a reading of the facts above, not a ranking.
The published facts suit someone who:
- wants a starting package price in baht before making contact, and will ask which FUE figure applies
- doesn't want to shave and is after hairline work, which is how the clinic presents its Long Hair package
- wants a doctor with an ISHRS Full Member listing
- can get to a branch near BTS/MRT Bang Wa or MRT Huai Khwang, or to Bangna, for the day-after visit
They suit someone less well who:
- wants an ABHRS-listed surgeon
- wants a published deposit, refund and follow-up policy before paying
- wants several independent, dated patient accounts with long-term results first
- needs FUT, a beard or eyebrow transplant, or a hotel and transfer package
Whichever list you're on, get the doctor's name, the price for your graft count and the deposit terms in writing before you pay.
