Vegaderma Reviews: Doctors, Prices and What Patients Report (2026)

Vegaderma says international patients can send photos, medical records or earlier treatment summaries for pre-arrival review. For hair-transplant treatment, the clinic says an itemized estimate follows consultation and donor evaluation.

If you're comparing hair transplants in Bangkok, Vegaderma's published hair services include FUE and DHI. Vegaderma is a regenerative dermatology and wound-care clinic, part of the wider Vega regenerative-medicine group, and hair transplantation is one of its services. The clinic names Dr. Aritaj Aiumtrakul as the hair-program lead.

Vegaderma at a Glance

Vegaderma describes a practice covering wound care, skin repair and scalp regeneration. Hair transplantation is one of its services, so ask specifically about the hair team and the operation proposed for you.

Who the Surgeons Are

What the Clinic Says About Each Doctor

Vegaderma names Dr. Aritaj Aiumtrakul as its "Hair Restoration & Scalp Regeneration Physician." The clinic says Doctor Taj leads its hair-restoration programs, including transplantation.

The same page lists a medical degree from Srinakharinwirot University and a Medical Council of Thailand license. It also lists hair-restoration courses with the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, FUE and FUT training, and a long-hair FUE masterclass.

These are the clinic's descriptions of the doctor's education and training. So ask which doctor will operate on your case rather than assuming the program lead performs every step.

Dr. Ekkaparb Charoensuk (Doctor Neung) is described as an "Integrative, Regenerative & Preventive Medicine Physician." Dr. Issariya Wongla (Doctor Tuck) is described as a "General & Aesthetic Surgeon," with work in wound care and regenerative treatment.

The doctor page doesn't identify either Doctor Neung or Doctor Tuck as a hair-transplant surgeon. Their presence on the team doesn't answer who will perform your transplant.

What the Clinic's ISHRS Training List Does Not Show

The ISHRS courses on Doctor Taj's clinic profile describe training. They should not be read as an ISHRS membership grade or ABHRS certification.

The clinic lists a Medical Council of Thailand license as part of Doctor Taj's profile. Check the doctor's name and license number in the Thai Medical Council register before booking.

How to Check It Yourself

Ask for the operating doctor's full name and medical license number.

If the clinic claims board certification or professional membership, ask for the matching entry through ABHRS or ISHRS. Match it to the doctor on your treatment plan.

Who Does Which Step

In the Clinic's Own Words

The procedure page describes extraction, graft handling and implantation without assigning those steps to named doctors or staff. It also leaves the person making recipient-site incisions unspecified.

Those are the small openings where grafts will be placed. A useful written answer identifies who makes the extraction incisions, who makes the recipient openings, and who handles and places the grafts.

Get the surgical roles in writing before paying a deposit.

Ask which steps a doctor will perform and which trained staff will perform. If several people will work on your case, ask who is responsible for each part.

In Patients' Words

Ask the clinic to identify the operating team and the role of each person in writing.

Techniques Offered

Vegaderma names follicular unit extraction (FUE) and DHI on its hair-transplant page. Its stem cell hair transplant article describes surgical FUE as moving existing follicles from a donor area to areas of hair loss.

For the method itself, our Bangkok FUE guide gives more context. Ask Vegaderma to describe the extraction and placement method in your proposed operation, including any implanter used.

The procedure page doesn't name FUT, beard or eyebrow transplantation, or a non-shaven or long-hair service. Doctor Taj's training list includes FUT and long-hair FUE, but availability needs a separate answer from the clinic.

If keeping your hair long matters, ask which areas would be trimmed and how much. Get that description attached to the quote before choosing a date.

FSE and the Stem Cell Hair Transplant Wording

Vegaderma calls its non-surgical hair treatment Follicular Signaling Enhancement, or FSE. It describes the treatment as using secretome-based signaling: material containing biological messengers used in its regenerative hair program.

The clinic says FSE can be used on its own or around transplantation. It claims support for graft integration and survival, density and recovery; those are Vegaderma's treatment claims, with no individual outcome assured.

Its stem cell article calls a literal stem-cell hair transplant an investigational injection procedure. It describes its own public regenerative hair services as generally using bio-active signaling, alongside surgical FUE, rather than live-cell implantation.

Ask what material the proposed treatment contains, how it is administered and what evidence supports its use in your case. The written plan should distinguish the surgery from each regenerative treatment and show whether those treatments are optional.

Vegaderma Price: What the Clinic Publishes

Vegaderma publishes no fixed transplant price, per-graft rate or package total (read 18 October 2026). It says the estimate depends on the graft requirement, technique, hairline design and any post-operative biological signaling treatment.

The clinic says it supplies an itemized estimate after consultation and donor evaluation. So you need that estimate to budget for this clinic; there is no published number here to multiply by a graft count.

What to Ask for in Writing

Ask for the proposed method and graft estimate alongside the total. If the clinic proposes FSE or another regenerative treatment, ask for its separate charge and whether the surgical quote changes without it.

Have the quote explain what happens if the graft estimate changes after the in-person assessment. Also request the payment schedule and cancellation terms. Ask which follow-up visits might involve another charge.

Booking, Consultation and Deposit

Vegaderma says international patients can send photos, medical records or past treatment summaries before traveling. It also describes English-speaking clinical support and help arranging visits around treatment timelines.

A pre-arrival review gives you a way to start the discussion before committing to travel. Ask who reviews the material and whether you can speak with the proposed operating doctor before paying for surgery.

Ask for consultation, deposit, cancellation and rescheduling terms in writing.

Get the consultation, surgery and required return visits listed by date. That schedule should guide flight and accommodation bookings.

What Is Included

Vegaderma doesn't publish a hair-transplant package inclusion list on its procedure page. An itemized estimate needs to say which care is part of the total and which care carries another charge.

Ask it to identify medication, aftercare supplies and clinic visits separately. The same applies to FSE or other regenerative treatments, even when they appear in the clinic's description of recovery.

Ask whether the written quote includes hotel accommodation or airport transfers.

Aftercare and Follow-Up When You Fly Home

Vegaderma says its follow-up extends across the first year, using photographs and trichoscopy at review appointments.

The published plan doesn't explain how those appointments work after an international patient goes home. So ask which reviews require attendance in Bangkok and whether any can be done remotely.

The clinic labels days 1 to 3 as its early aftercare period, covering graft protection and management of redness and swelling. That description doesn't specify how many clinic visits your quote includes or when your doctor would advise flying home.

Ask for written washing and care instructions, a contact for concerns after departure, and the plan if an in-person examination is needed at home. Our Bangkok recovery guide covers travel planning around aftercare.

Location and Getting There

A Vegaderma article lists the clinic at 3/6 The Primary 101, Lad Phrao 101 Road, Khlong Chan, Bangkapi, Bangkok 10240, Thailand. A usable branch list isn't available here.

Ask for the address and map pin for your consultation, surgery and follow-up visits. Check that they are at the same location before choosing accommodation.

Vegaderma Reviews: What Patients Report

Positive and Mixed Reports

Look for an account that identifies the procedure and operating doctor before using it to judge the hair service.

Complaints, Criticism and Doubts

The practical unanswered questions are who performs the surgical steps, what the total includes, and how follow-up works after departure. The clinic can answer those directly in a treatment plan.

What the Reports Can't Tell You

There is no independent patient account here describing Vegaderma's transplant recovery, results or response to a concern after surgery. Ask for dated hair cases with the doctor, procedure and length of follow-up identified.

Keep clinic-selected cases separate from independently posted patient diaries. For either, the surgery date and update date matter when interpreting what the account describes.

Vegaderma Compared With Other Bangkok Clinics

If you're building a shortlist, our profiles of HairTran Clinic and Absolute Hair Clinic cover the same booking and treatment questions. Each clinic needs to supply a plan for your case before you can compare totals.

Compare the named operator, graft estimate and method, then the included care and payment terms. For a Vegaderma proposal involving regenerative treatment, ask for those charges separately so you can see what each quote covers.

Questions to Ask Before You Pay a Deposit

Take these questions to the consultation and ask for the answers with your treatment plan:

  1. Which doctor will operate, and what is that doctor's Thai medical license number?
  2. Which method do you propose, and why does it fit my donor area and goals?
  3. Who makes the extraction incisions and recipient-site incisions, and who places the grafts?
  4. What graft estimate is in the plan, and what happens to the price if it changes?
  5. Does the quote identify FSE and other regenerative treatments separately, and are they optional?
  6. What evidence supports the proposed regenerative treatment around my transplant?
  7. Which visits and supplies are included in early aftercare, and when should I plan to leave Bangkok?
  8. How will the first-year follow-up work from my home country, and what will it cost?
  9. What are the deposit, cancellation and rescheduling terms?

Frequently Asked Questions

Who leads Vegaderma's hair-transplant program?

Vegaderma names Doctor Taj (Dr. Aritaj Aiumtrakul) as its hair-restoration program lead. The page lists medical education and hair-restoration training as clinic claims. Ask which doctor will operate on your case and how the surgical steps will be divided between the doctor and staff.

Does Vegaderma publish a hair-transplant price?

No fixed rate or package total is published on its hair-transplant page. The clinic says an itemized estimate follows consultation and donor evaluation. Ask for the graft estimate, method, regenerative treatment charges and included aftercare in writing.

Does Vegaderma offer FUE or DHI?

Its procedure page names both. It doesn't publish shave options on that page, so ask directly about non-shaven or long-hair surgery. A doctor's listed training in a technique doesn't tell you whether the clinic currently offers it for your case.

What is FSE, and is it a hair transplant?

Vegaderma describes Follicular Signaling Enhancement as a non-surgical treatment using secretome-based biological signaling. It says the treatment can be used separately or around transplantation. Ask what the proposed treatment contains and why it is being added to your surgical plan.

What follow-up does Vegaderma publish for patients traveling home?

The clinic describes first-year follow-up using photographs and trichoscopy, a magnified scalp examination. It doesn't explain how an overseas patient completes those reviews. Get the remote-review arrangements, any required return visits and charges in writing before booking travel.

Are there independent Vegaderma hair-transplant reviews?

Reviews of other treatments don't establish the experience of a hair patient. Ask for hair-transplant cases and look for independent accounts that identify the surgery date, doctor and follow-up period.

Is Vegaderma Right for You?

If you're interested in a clinic that combines surgical and regenerative hair services, Vegaderma publishes descriptions of both. Ask the doctor to explain the reason for each part of the proposed plan, its evidence and its cost.

If you need a public transplant rate or independent hair-patient diaries before making contact, those are missing here. The published material also leaves the allocation of surgical tasks and overseas follow-up arrangements unanswered.

We would use the consultation to get those details in writing before making a booking decision. Medical suitability needs an assessment by the treating doctor.
