Short answer: MP Hair Clinic's hair transplant page lists Morepure Clinic in Phuket among its service branches and says "Hair Transplant service starts at 100 baht per graft" (about $3.02, a clinic-published starting price) for what it calls "a complete hair transplant surgery course" of 9 months, which includes "treatment with platelet-based plasma". Its Short Hair DHI page, which lists the same branch, says "price 60 baht/graft, including complete care for 9 month" (about $1.81, clinic-published; both pages read 25 September 2026). Max Hair Thailand publishes an FUE-MAX promotional package at $2,690 (฿89,000) without saying how many grafts it covers. As a guide, most patient reports at three of five Bangkok clinics fall at $1.96 to $2.72 (฿65-90) per graft, which is $4,900 to $6,790 (฿162,500-225,000) for 2,500 grafts before travel.

How Hair Transplant Pricing Works in Phuket

The Bangkok clinics we track price per graft (Hairsmith publishes $2.41 (฿80) per graft, for example), and many US clinics do too. MP Hair Clinic's hair transplant page, which lists Morepure Clinic in Phuket as a branch, says "Hair Transplant service starts at 100 baht per graft" (read 25 September 2026). Ask any Phuket clinic for a per-graft rate and a graft count in writing.

Per-Graft Pricing: The Standard Model

What's a graft?

A graft (also called a follicular unit) is one of what the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) calls "natural clusters of hairs grouped in 1-4 hairs each" (ISHRS, read 27 September 2026). When your surgeon extracts and transplants a graft, they're moving an entire follicular unit - not individual hairs.

How pricing works:

Clinic quotes a price per graft. Your final cost = number of grafts × per-graft price. The ISHRS says "Most surgeons charge per graft, whereas a few do not charge per graft but charge a set amount for the procedure based on a projected graft range." (ISHRS, read 27 September 2026)

Does DHI cost more?

PHD Clinic's Phuket page says DHI "uses a special medical device called a DHI Implanter (Choi Implanter Pen)" (read 27 September 2026). The ISHRS says "Sharp implanters are used to make an incision in the skin and immediately implant the graft." (ISHRS, read 27 September 2026). Only CosmoPrime in Bangkok lists a DHI rate, $1.81 to $2.72 (฿60-90) per graft, in a general price table on its own site. In Phuket, MP Hair Clinic's Short Hair DHI page, which lists Morepure Clinic as a branch, says "price 60 baht/graft, including complete care for 9 month" (read 25 September 2026). HairTran and Hairsmith include the implanter pen at their FUE price. Ask any Phuket clinic whether DHI changes the quote.

Why Non-Shaven FUE costs more:

The surgeon must work around long hair without shaving. The ISHRS says "Non-shaved FUE may be performed in select cases but requires much more labor and time and is usually charged at a higher price." (ISHRS, read 25 September 2026). In Bangkok, Hairsmith publishes $3.62 (฿120) per graft for non-shaven FUE against $2.41 (฿80) for standard FUE, and HairTran publishes $3.02 (฿100) for no-shave.

FUT pricing:

FUT (strip method) extracts a strip of scalp from the donor area, which is then dissected into individual grafts. The ISHRS says "Usually, FUT is cheaper than FUE because FUT requires less surgeon labor to perform." (ISHRS, read 27 September 2026). At Thai Hair Clinic in Chiang Mai, FUT is $1.89-$2.25 per graft against $3.00 for FUE (its own published rates). Trade-off: the ISHRS says "FUT leaves a linear scar, unlike FUE." PHD Clinic Phuket

Type: Its Phuket page is headed "FUE & DHI Hair Transplant Specialists", and the same page's menu lists "Facelift Surgery Phuket" and "Double eyelid surgery Phuket" (read 27 September 2026)

Published price: none on its website (checked 23 September 2026), and we found no patient-reported figure. Ask for a written quote

Morepure Clinic Phuket

Type: Its Phuket page is headed "COMPREHENSIVE HAIR TRANSPLANT CENTER" and says "Morepure Clinic Phuket opens from 1 May 2024." (read 27 September 2026)
