Ask Kesa for the full name and Thai medical registration number of the doctor responsible for your case. Match that name to the directory record, then have the clinic put it on your quote.

Ask what happens if that doctor becomes unavailable. Knowing the intended surgeon also lets you request patient examples from that doctor's own cases.

Kesa's six-step procedure page assigns hairline design and anesthesia to a doctor. It says a specialist medical team prepares the extracted grafts under a microscope, and a doctor creates the direction and angle for placement.

The page describes a Hybrid extraction machine and a method of placing grafts without touching their roots. It doesn't identify who operates the extraction device or places each graft.

Ask who performs extraction and who makes the recipient incisions. Ask who places the grafts too. A statement that a doctor designs the hairline leaves the rest of those roles unanswered.

In Patients' Words

Two HDmall accounts say "the doctor" extracted or placed the grafts, without naming which doctor or saying who made the recipient incisions.

So we would ask for those roles in writing before paying a deposit. Use the actual tasks in the question, so a reply about general doctor supervision doesn't leave you guessing.

Techniques Offered

Kesa uses several procedure names across its site. Its N28 page describes FUE, or follicular unit extraction, and says it adopted direct hair implantation (DHI) with an implanter pen in 2020.

The same page says Kesa developed its NNN method from 2021 and now presents N28. Ask which method is being proposed for your case, including how hair roots will be extracted and how grafts will be placed.

Kesa also lists eyebrow and beard transplantation, plus transplantation into scalp scars. Its pages discussed here don't set out a follicular unit transplantation (FUT), or strip-surgery, service.

Kesa's six-step page describes cutting the hair at the back of the scalp short during preparation. So ask about shaving even if your main concern is the hairline.

In an HDmall account, a writer who goes by Ga-Toey described a donor shave hidden beneath the remaining hair.

That describes a shaved area covered by longer hair. If you want no trimming anywhere, ask Kesa to specify whether the donor area, where grafts are taken, or the receiving area will be shaved.

On its English Bangkok page and Thai price article (read 17 October 2026), Kesa gives no per-graft fee or package total. The Thai article discusses pricing factors without supplying a fee for your procedure.

So you need a written quote to compare Kesa's cost with another clinic. There is no published Kesa rate here that we can multiply by your estimated graft count.

Patient-Reported Prices by Date

Patient-reported, August 6, 2026: one r/Hairtransplant poster described paying "about 5k AUD" at Kesa. The captured comment gives no graft count or procedure date. It also leaves the doctor and inclusions unstated.

That amount can't tell you what the same procedure would cost today. Without the graft count and a breakdown of charges, it also can't produce a usable per-graft comparison.

What to Ask for in Writing

Ask for the estimated graft count and total price in Thai baht, attached to the named doctor and proposed technique. Ask the clinic to use the same graft-count basis in the estimate and final bill.

Have the quote separate included care from optional charges. Ask what happens to the total if the surgeon changes the graft estimate after examining you in person.

Booking, Consultation and Deposit

Kesa's English site directs consultation inquiries to WhatsApp. The page doesn't explain whether the assessment can happen by video, which photographs it needs, or how far ahead surgery is booked.

Before arranging travel, ask whether the first assessment will be with the operating doctor. Have the clinic explain which decisions can be made remotely and which require an examination in Bangkok.

The clinic pages discussed here don't state the deposit or surgery waiting time. They don't set out a cancellation schedule either. Request those terms with the proposed date, including what happens if the doctor advises against surgery after seeing you.

Kesa advertises the consultation as free (read 17 October 2026). Ask whether that offer covers the assessment you need before travel and whether any further appointment has a fee.

What Is Included

Kesa's English Bangkok and Thai pricing pages don't provide an itemized surgery package. So don't assume medication is included. Ask about hotel stays and transfers separately.

Ask whether services in the quote include washing, wound care, or laser sessions, how many visits it covers, and whether you need appointments.

Aftercare and Follow-Up When You Fly Home

Kesa says a doctor gives post-procedure instructions and suggests having a relative collect you or asking the clinic to call a taxi. Ask for the instructions before surgery so you can arrange your return to the hotel.

Positive and Mixed Reports

The dated MediHair reviews give some detail about consultations and follow-up. On November 24, 2023, Sunpapol Kladyoo described a doctor who gave recommendations without overselling the graft count, writing three months after the procedure.

On December 1, 2023, reviewer ฐนิตา นามลักษณ์ praised the doctor and staff care at two weeks. Acco Socom's December 4 account described wound-care and washing appointments at the same early stage.

A November 2, 2025 review by Dave looked back on a frontal procedure a year earlier involving 2,800 grafts. The reviewer said it was convenient to consult the doctor during follow-up, but the text doesn't provide a sequence of dated progress updates.

In an HDmall account, Thames Sanpakit described a 2,800-graft NNN procedure lasting about seven hours. The author described anesthetic injections as the painful part and gave an update at two weeks.

HDmall hosts these accounts on a commercial platform with clinic or package links. They contain useful procedure-day details, but the early updates don't show a completed long-term result.

Complaints, Criticism and Doubts

On March 1, 2024, an r/HairTransplants poster wrote, "I didn't find reviews from real people." The same poster said, "I felt a bit weird the fact they try to make me in the rush to book a HT with them."

That prospective patient's concern was about finding independent accounts and feeling pressed to book. If you feel rushed, wait until the clinic has answered your questions in writing before paying.
